Oku Ibom Ibibio, His Eminence, Ntenyin (Dr) Solomon Daniel Etuk, JP, CFR is the Patriarch (Father and Supreme Head) of Ibibio Nation and President General of the Supreme Council of Ibibio Traditional Rulers. He is the first among equals of all the Paramount Rulers in Ibibio land. He serves as the Supreme Head of the traditional institution consisting of the Paramount Rulers, Clan Heads, Village Heads, and Family Heads. As the Paramount King, he reigns for life and decides with other Paramount Rulers in the council.

Ifim Ibom Ibibio otherwise known, called and addressed as the Supreme Council of Ibibio Traditional Rulers is the highest traditional institution in Ibibio land in Akwa Ibom State. He was selected on Friday, September 14, 2018, formally proclaimed on Saturday, November 17, 2018, and coronated on Monday, December 31st, 2018, at Asan Ibibio, Ikot Oku Ikono, Uyo Local Government Area, Akwa Ibom State. Ifim Ibom Ibibio is headed by a first-class traditional ruler selected from among the Paramount Rulers of Local Government Areas of Ibibio ethnic nationality, the fourth largest tribe in Nigeria. Over the years, Ifim Ibom Ibibio was presided over by the following Oku Iboms: His Eminence, Akwa Edidem Thompson Udo Uyoatta Akpabio III, OFR, MBE; His Eminence, Uspnyin Okon Ekpo Ekpo and His Eminence, Akwa Edidem (Dr) Akpabio Udo Ukpa, JP, FCE.
